Become a Champion of Childhood

At DVCAC we are Champions of Childhood! CLICK HERE to become a Champion as well!

For most of us, the innocence of childhood provided a carefree time of discovery within the safe and comforting arms of family. But what if your childhood dreams were interrupted by violence? What if you had no safe place?

Childhood - with all its wonderful milestones and memories - is worth protecting. At Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center, we fight every day to keep the children of our community safe and provide hope and healing to those whose childhood might be filled with less than joyful memories.

DVCAC serves our community’s most vulnerable children whose lives have been splintered by violence, abuse or neglect. Our programs provide critical support to help stop the cycle of violence and heal both emotional and physical wounds. Through our Family & Child Advocacy Helpline, education programs, emergency safe shelter, trauma therapy and Supervised Visitation Center, we provide stability, develop new skills and help keep children safe. We reach over 3500 children each year and your support is vital in helping us continue these efforts.

The 2017 Champions of Childhood Campaign

The 2017 Champions of Childhood Campaign will help raise critical funds and awareness for our children’s programming in Cuyahoga County. To join the campaign, individuals and companies will be asked to raise funds to help us reach our goal of $95,000. The campaign will culminate in our Breakfast of Champions event on April 20th to celebrate our success and honor all of the champions who participated. Champions will be provided with a user-friendly, online fundraising site as well as the ability to sell tickets, tables and sponsorships to the Breakfast. Incentives will be offered for a variety of fundraising levels including tickets to the event, a “Champions of Childhood” t-shirt, raffle tickets, and your very own champion’s trophy.
