Many organizations provide opportunities for their employees to support charitable agencies. Please explore these opportunities at your workplace.
Federated Appeals (Government Employees)
Federal employees will find Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center listed as an option in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Please locate DVCAC in the Alpha index or the federation index. Our CFC number is 39167.
Workplace Giving (Non-Government Employees)
DVCAC is a member of Community Shares who supports social justice organizations through workplace giving programs and other philanthropic initiatives.
DVCAC is also a member agency of United Way of Greater Cleveland.

Increase your donation with employer matching funds. Many employers will match your personal donation. Here is small sample of companies who have matching gift programs. Check with your company for more information on matching gift programs. Employer matching gifts may also be available to you if you are the spouse of an employee, a retired employee or the spouse/widow/widower of a retiree.
Here is what you do:
1. Ask the Human Resources Officer where you work if there is a charitable Matching Gift program (many companies, large or small, have a program established- here is a short list)
2. If the answer is "yes", ask for a Matching Gift Form or the procedure and complete your portion.
3. Include your completed form with your next gift to DVCAC. That's all it takes to double or triple your impact on violence in our community.
4. If your company does not have a matching gifts program, ask about creating a program where you work or find out if there is another way your company supports charitable organizations.
Some companies also reward your volunteerism. If you are a DVCAC volunteer, ask your HR Officer if they have a program in place which can benefit DVCAC.
